Ask your assistant, with the figures from Fiatto
Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Fiatto with your own account. Then ask your assistant which invoices are still open or what has been ordered from a supplier. The assistant only reads, and only what you are allowed to see in Fiatto.
Connect in three steps
1
Turn assistants on
An administrator turns on assistants in Fiatto under Settings, Integrations. It is off by default, per company.
2
Add Fiatto to your assistant
In Claude or ChatGPT, add a connector with the address of the Fiatto server. You can also find it under Integrations.
3
Sign in and give consent
You sign in with your Fiatto account and see which assistant is asking for access, for which company and what it may do. Allowing it asks for your second factor or passkey again.
Server address: https://fiatto.app/api/v1/mcp
What the assistant can read
- Purchasing: requests, purchase orders, goods receipts, purchase invoices and purchase contracts.
- Sales: customers, sales orders, sales invoices and sales contracts.
- Suppliers and payments on invoices.
- Journal entries and the trial balance, only if you are an approver or accountant.
What is never possible through an assistant
- Paying or releasing a payment batch.
- Changing bank details or IBANs.
- Posting to the general ledger.
- Deleting anything.
- Managing users or permissions.
For now the assistant only reads: it does not create or approve anything either.
Privacy and control
Off by default
Nobody can connect an assistant until an administrator turns it on for the company.
Within your permissions
The assistant only sees what you are allowed to see in Fiatto. If you lose those permissions or are deactivated, the connection stops at the next question.
Every question recorded
For each question, Fiatto records which data was requested, when and on whose behalf, in the company's audit trail. If that record cannot be written, Fiatto returns no data.
You choose the assistant
What the assistant requests is processed by its provider (such as Anthropic or OpenAI) under its own terms and your settings there. Fiatto sends nothing on its own.
Other people's text stays text
Fiatto passes on supplier names and descriptions, or text from documents, marked as data, so a hidden instruction does not steer the assistant.
Revoke at any time
Revoke a connection under Settings, Integrations, or turn assistants off for the whole company. It takes effect at the next question.
