Approvals
Approve between two meetings.
In a small company, the person who approves is rarely behind a desk. So they don't need to be: the approver gets an email, opens the link on their phone and decides.
How it works
An email with everything you need
The email names the request, the supplier and the amount, with signals such as a price that deviates or a budget that is almost used up. Each approver receives it in their own language.
Decide without logging in
The link opens the request with its justification and quotes. You approve or reject. When rejecting, you add why, so the requester knows what needs to change.
The same rules as in the app
Via the link, too, you don't approve your own request and your personal limit applies. If a second approver is needed, Fiatto records your decision and waits for the second.
Usable once, valid for three days
Each link belongs to one approver and one request. It works once and expires after three days. After that, you log in to decide.
The decision is on record
Whoever decides via the email appears in the request's history just like someone who decides in the app. So you can always see later who approved what.
Also for a deviating invoice
If an invoice deviates from the order, the approver can review it via a link too, with the PDF next to the order.
Good to know
- If your team works in Slack or Microsoft Teams, the approval can arrive there too, with buttons to approve or reject.
- If you prefer working in the app, you'll find all open approvals in one inbox.
- Don't forward an approval link: it belongs to you, and the decision is recorded in your name.
