In a small company, one person often handles purchasing, approval and the books at the same time. Fiatto is built for that: the rules adapt to your team, not the other way round.
How it works when you are only a few people
You don't approve your own request
Whoever submits a request doesn't count as an approver. If you are the only person who can decide, Fiatto doesn't stop you. The segregation-of-duties analysis does flag it, so it can be found later.
A second pair of eyes only where it matters
You decide above which amount a second approver is needed. Below that, one person decides, so not every small purchase has to go past two people.
Everyone their own limit
For each person you set the amount up to which they may approve. Above that limit they cannot approve the request, not even by accident.
On holiday, and still no standstill
Set a substitute for the period you are away. They then decide wherever you would. If you are ill, a colleague can set up the substitution for you, and every change goes into the audit trail.
Approve from your email
The approver receives an email with a link. With it you view the request with its quotes and decide, without logging in. The link works once and expires after three days.
Only the screens you need
You pick a work role, such as requester, budget holder or accounts, and the sidebar shows what belongs to it. If you do everything yourself, you choose all modules.
One fixed price for the whole team
Kern costs €119 per administration per month, with 10 users included. If the team grows beyond that, you pay €15 per extra user per month.
Expense claims are included
Expense claims and receipt scanning are also part of Kern. Everyone in the team claims expenses through the same route that purchasing takes.
When you don't need it yet
- If you buy something a few times a month and decide everything yourself, a shared folder with quotes is often still enough.
- Fiatto starts to help once more than one person spends or approves money, because that is when the question of who may do what comes up.
- You don't have to use everything at once. Start with requests and approvals, and switch on the rest when you are ready.
