For the controller
Figures that reconcile, down to the source.
You want to back up the numbers, not rebuild them afterwards. In Fiatto, decision, owner and documents sit in one audit trail, from the request all the way to the posting.
Where it hurts today
- Closing is still manual work: you reconcile figures that could have been reliable much earlier.
- Every invoice is reviewed by hand, even when it simply matches the purchase order.
- Whether a duplicate invoice gets caught depends on who enters it.
What you use most in Fiatto
Matching to purchase order and receipt
The invoice is matched to the purchase order and to what was actually received. You only see the exceptions.
The invoice mailbox
Reads e-invoices and PDFs and catches duplicate invoices. An invoice without a purchase order gets a coding proposal that a person approves.
Preview posting and audit trail
You see the posting before anything lands in your accounting system. Every approval, change and review is kept in an immutable audit trail.
Frequently asked questions
What does our auditor get to see?
If you use Fiatto's own ledger, your external auditor can get a read-only audit workspace: trial balance, journal, a PBC list and a question log. The auditor cannot change the records themselves.
What happens to invoices without a purchase order?
They can still come in. An AI agent proposes the coding, based on what your team approved before, and a person approves it.
