A file for every type of engagement
Compilation (NV COS 4410)
Knowledge of the entity and its records, the reporting framework and management's confirmation, the acceptance, compilation and read-through steps with sign-off, and the signs of incorrect or incomplete information with how they were resolved. When you close, you see what is still missing.
Analytical procedures (NV COS 520)
For each line item you record an expectation: last year plus growth, a ratio, price times volume or your own amount. Fiatto calculates it, and when a difference exceeds your threshold the screen asks for an explanation and evidence. The overall review at the end is included.
Assurance at a service organisation (Standard 3402)
Type I or type II, the services, the intended users, subservice organisations and the complementary user controls. For each control objective the controls, the conclusion on design and, for type II, the test, the sample and the deviations.
Other assurance (Standard 3000A)
Templates for, among others, a turnover statement for a lease, the Dutch packaging waste fund (Afvalfonds Verpakkingen) and the CO2 Performance Ladder pre-fill the subject, the criteria and the level of assurance. You adopt the suggested procedures in one click.
WNT test (Dutch public-sector pay cap)
The pay of every senior official and supervisory board member against the cap. Fiatto calculates the individual cap from the part-time factor and the days in the financial year, and every excess needs an explanation before you close.
Compliance audit at a Dutch local government
The standards framework, the reporting threshold and the council's disclosure threshold. Fiatto calculates the threshold, counts errors and uncertainties separately and together, and reconciles with the executive board's compliance statement.
Around the file
An archive copy you can prove is unchanged
After the file is closed, the whole file becomes one PDF with a table of contents. Fiatto records a hash, checks it on every download and logs who downloads. You can later check a downloaded copy against that hash yourself.

Good to know
- Fiatto calculates, checks for completeness and records. The opinion and the signature stay with the accountant.
- The structure follows the standards named here. Fiatto has not been reviewed for this by the NBA or the AFM.
- The standards are Dutch. The screens are available in six languages; the technical terms stay those of the standard.
